They served their country previously - I won't directly engage in denigration but I certainly won't support them in any capacity whatsoever.

88
bewarethejogger 88 points ago +90 / -2

That's the way I'm looking at it.

What a monumentally idiotic decision though. Nobody complaining about them supporting Kyle would ever buy their coffee anyways.

Let's not be like the left and eat our own. Keep our eye on the prize!

Why not make sure people know about a company that goes out of their way to make sure everybody knows they don't support an American hero

Sadly, I just read that they actively withdrew their support from blaze because someone at Blaze posted the picture of Kyle with BRC shirt. I'm not going to get upset. I'm Just never going to buy their coffee again.

1
AngrySerb1 1 point ago +1 / -0

They're not our own. Look who evan harder donated money to....

15
Bidensbrain2020 15 points ago +21 / -6

They didn't say anything negative about Kyle, just that their philanthropy focuses on veteran's issues and they don't financially support legal advocacy. The soy betacuck open mouth shit is pretty lame though.

26
AngryAsian 26 points ago +29 / -3

Then keep your mouth shut, easy...instead, they go out of their way to distance themselves because they're afraid of the perpetually butthurt retards

“We do not support legal advocacy efforts,” said co-founder Evan Hafer in a statement. “We do not sponsor nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI.”

It's really that simple. The picture with Kyle wearing that shirt was a clear sponsorship statement. They didn't actually sponsor it though

13
djtverystablegenius 13 points ago +16 / -3

Black Rifle takes our money for the merchandise... press release when they don't approve of who wears it.

I will not buy Black Rifle again.

9
aveydey 9 points ago +9 / -0

If I wear a BRC shirt, am I sponsored by them?

-4
Kozio_ -4 points ago +3 / -7

If you are released from jail and the first thing publicly posted by your financial/legal sponsors is a picture with you wearing a logo of your sponsor's sponsor.... It would be sus

I've never ordered black rifle and don't follow them, but my immediate impression was that black rifle was involved in Kyle's release

Thats a bingo. I wouldn't care so much if they didn't bill themselves as 2A defending, patriotic defenders of the Constitution. They had an opportunity to prove it and caved to the mob.

Kyle went to help clean up and defend Kenosha from the violent left. He's was attacked and defended himself and its all documented yet they are running away from this like cowards. They won't even say his name in their PR posts.

Conservative cancel culture? We can do better. We need to win the election battle. This is friendly fire. It's a bad decision, but who else are you going to buy your coffee from? Starbucks? F*** that

EDIT: I JUST READ THAT THEY PULL THE SPONSORSHIP ON THE BLAZE PODCAST BECAUSE THEY SHOWED A PICTURE OF KYLE IN THE BLACK RIFLE SHIRT. FUCK BLACK RIFLE COFFEE

28
arse_garblin 28 points ago +28 / -0

When it’s a company we’re talking about, it’s called a boycott — and it’s effective.

They are not the only conservative coffee company out there. And I’m truly sick of all these fucks bending the knee to the liberal mob and then expecting conservatives to just stay quiet and go along with the ride.

We CAN do better, thanks to glorious capitalism. Time to put our collective money where our mouths are and stop putting up with this shit.

15
Methodmapper 15 points ago +16 / -1 (edited)

There is only one GEOTUS, he is teaching us how to win by not bending the knee. Few are as strong. We need our base to grow, not shrink to those that are as strong as he. EDIT: I READ THAT THEY PULLED THE SPONSORSHIP ON THE PODCAST, F*** BLACK RIFLE COFFEE

18
AngryAsian 18 points ago +18 / -0

Yeah, how dare we decide to stop buying products from a company that'd rather support perpetually butthurt retards instead of an American hero.

15
CandyBarr 15 points ago +16 / -1

Being Conservative is EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE DOING.

I don't care if you butt fuck your neighbor in the privacy of your own home. I will not however participate.

I will not participate with BRC. They can go butt fuck themselves (In the privacy of their own home)

9
Dialectic 9 points ago +10 / -1

The biggest crock of shit the cucky loserservatives ever pushed onto our political group is the notion that voting with your wallet is unpatriotic.

Call it what you want, boycott or whatever, but it’s straight fucking capitalism to choose different products for a variety of reasons: quality of product, customer service, price, company ideals

In other words, quit being a faggoty loser.

BRC markets solely to Republican type consumers, then they apparently shit on their customers when the cards are on the table. That deserves a reevaluation of your financial investment in the company.

10
Honk4Trump 10 points ago +10 / -0

No I visit another online forum that I won’t name that has hated BRC for well over a year now. They are total faggots and it’s only being revealed here today.

Not a single soy boy has ever or will ever purchase 'Black Rifle Coffee'

The entire shtick is mediocre coffee with a significant markup "because 2nd Amendment reasons"

13
FuckReddit4545 13 points ago +13 / -0

mediocre coffee

Literally this. Tons of better coffee, there's just wasn't terrible and I liked supporting veterans. Now they've lost me, fuck them.

FamburgerHelper 8 points ago +8 / -0

To be honest, this is why I cancelled my club membership. I wanted to support veterans & 2A advocates. Bought my first bag at the armory! Then I joined their on-line club. But I love really really good fancy beans for my espresso maker and BRC didn't have my daily latte bean, so I quit the club, but I still like their coffee for when I want to brew a regular cup of nothing-fancy joe.

Now, I'm disappointed. I get they just want to make coffee but catering to people who never bought their coffee & pissing off the ones who did seems like a bad business move.

Just as cucked as the pink haired he/she’s at starbucks. Kyle Rittenhouse is an American loving commie killing hero. Fuck you for disrespecting him and “distancing” yourself to appease the commies.

27
Sgfoo 27 points ago +27 / -0

They didn’t have to respond to the commie mob in the first place. They are not their consumers. But why not embrace Kyle for the courageous hero he is? All their advertisements for gun rights are a complete contradiction to how they respond to Kyle wearing their shirt. He is a real life embodiment of what most of their marketing. Should of invited him to be in the next ad.

16

Kyle should start his own coffee company and call it "Black Rittenhouse Coffee" so they can watch their entire cust base switch over.

Amazing idea! You should ask Kyle permission to use his name. Never let a good crisis go to waste. You might not get another one lol

All about the money with these cucks, From what I hear their coffee taste like shit, Never drank that "SWAMP WATER"

15
VTubersAreWorthTheSi 15 points ago +15 / -0

I would say its more about public perception. Companies seem to care more about what people who don't buy their products say vs. Their actual client base.

8

Can confirm. It’s over priced and tastes like the commie shit you can get at Costco

8

Probably IS the commie shit at Costco. It's pretty amazing how much of stuff on the shelves is just rebranded. They're buying coffee from some 3rd world country and dumping it in their own bags.

27
one3five 27 points ago +27 / -0

Kyle Rittenhouse was wearing their t-shirt in a photo (I think the photo was taken at home after his release from jail). BRC felt they needed to make a long-winded fence straddling statement to make it clear they do not endorse what might be seen as an endorsement by Kyle...when really they didn't need to say anything at all.

Basically, they stepped in it.

12
Gryffinofgold 12 points ago +12 / -0

Why “cucked faggots”?

21
djtverystablegenius 21 points ago +23 / -2

Turning on a 17 year old supporter earned our disdain. Here is the press release:

https://www.blackriflecoffee.com/pages/official-statement-kenosha

9
Methodmapper 9 points ago +12 / -3 (edited)

Doesn't say that they turned on him, they just said that they didn't sponsor him.

We do not support legal advocacy efforts. We do not sponsor nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI.

Frankly, they don't have to. My pillow guy and Ricky did.

Did you? If you didn't either, you should shut your mouth.

Like Bannon said, let's keep our focus on the goal, the election.

EDIT: I JUST READ THAT THEY PULL THE SPONSORSHIP ON THE BLAZE PODCAST BECAUSE THEY SHOWED A PICTURE OF KYLE IN THE BLACK RIFLE SHIRT. FUCK BLACK RIFLE COFFEE

8
AngryAsian 8 points ago +8 / -0

So why say anything unless you're trying to pacify the perpetually butthurt retards on the left? Oh that's right, because apparently they think said retards are their base, and they're going to find out that that's not the case

0
Bidensbrain2020 0 points ago +3 / -3

It doesn't seem that bad. They just said they do not financially support things other than veteran's rights. It probably would have been better to say nothing though.

7
CandyBarr 7 points ago +7 / -0

They should have said nothing.

Like when your elderly mother farts in the room because of her new medication.

YOU SAY NOTHING OUT OF RESPECT. They didn't have to say ANYTHING instead they had to virtue signal.

13
MYNAMEISBETTY 13 points ago +13 / -0

Emotional response. I guess because we go do business with people that love the country and feel we are part of a small community and when they kinda turn on Kyle who’s just a kid it’s like a stab in the back. No patriot was complaining about it for sure. It was the left. So they see it as they bent the knee like so many others

5
FreshFriggy 5 points ago +5 / -0

I wouldn't say its a "small" community, but it most certainly is a tight community.

MYNAMEISBETTY 1 point ago +1 / -0

11
DeplorableDreg1123 11 points ago +11 / -0

So read a lot of these posts. Seems people are not sure what exactly happened. Here it is in the nutshell. A Blaze Pod Caster posted a pic of K.R. wearing a BRC t shirt. The tweet said KR drinks the best coffee in the world. In response BRC said they did not support KR. Now instead of just issuing this statement. which is their right to clarify. They then Cancelled all sponsorship of the Pod Caster. Also their right. Had they simply just issued a statement on non support of the KR, that would have been understandable. But NO, they had to crush the Pod Caster. That is the issue. Get woke. Go broke.

5

6
NoTimeToBleed 6 points ago +6 / -0

They're waffling.

https://www.sltrib.com/news/2020/11/21/utah-coffee-company-faces/

A spokesperson for the coffee company told The Salt Lake Tribune on Saturday afternoon that the company was terminating its sponsorship of Slightly Offens*ve, but late Saturday, she said she had misunderstood.

“We are not fluctuating our ad spend,” she said in a text message. “We did have a conversation with Schaffer, and he understands that the post was a mistake.”

If they really didn't want anything formal to do with Kyle, the correct response is no comment, we support law enforcement, the Second Amendment, and the legal process, and we welcome all coffee drinkers who do the same. The end. They can't control who wears their t-shirts, nor should they try.

This is just really bad PR. They have a problem on their hands now.
