Having lived and worked in SF, I had the pleasure of meeting A LOT of gay folk. They are ALL insane. The sanest one was a republican who was well aware of his mental illness and coped well.
But the same goes for every liberal snowflake, they are all fucking mentally ill.
I’ll take the downvotes for this probably because I’m a libertarian not a republican. Even if they are mentally ill they deserve to live as they believe they are happy, even if they shall be more miserable for it, it’s their right to choose that life. The line to draw is when they start writing legislation that gives them special rights, which they are certainly doing. Even if it did start us down this slippery slope, gay marriage being legal is a good thing. We just need to stop forced pronouns as compulsion of speech is a violation of the first amendment.
Libertarians don't believe the state has a vested interest in marriage let alone advocate for changing the language of laws that have decades of precedence to be inclusive to a minority that doesn't even naturally produce offspring.
Libertarians argue that the government has no business in marriage. Individuals should be able to arrange contracts of custody and burden shares how they see fit and churches/religious sects should be able to certify unions how they see fit.
By the way. There is no such thing as gay marriage. It's antithetical. Marriage is the union of a man and woman. Has been for thousands and thousands of years.
As a libertarian you should be appalled at what has been forced onto religion by the state.
The entire spectrum of lgbt is mentally ill. We need to stop saying "trans are mentally ill but gays are ok." I will get downvoted for this.
