Just another cucked company which caved to the mob. So, just drop the over-priced Black Rifle Coffee.

p8riot 809 points ago +827 / -18

They could not have botched this PR any worse.

I thought for SURE, that shirt was a paid product placement and Kyle would get some kickback

I stayed silent because good for him, deserves something for sitting in jail.

But now to have them condemn his wearing it? Crowder should drop them immediately

edit: let em know how you feel! (385) 262-7184 or [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]

Based_psychologist 250 points ago +398 / -148

They didn’t condemn his wearing it. Did you read their release? They essentially said, “we didn’t pay him to wear that shirt and we don’t have any formal position.” It’s a weak position, but I don’t fully blame them as a company.

How many faggots on Twitter actually buy coffee from them?

90
Flcentipede 90 points ago +104 / -14

Glen Beck is reason enough to drop the Blaze, but this is dumb.

34
Snooptwo 34 points ago +53 / -19

This is what’s getting me. Regardless of what is obvious in the videos, that this was clearly self defense, it is still an open case involving an under age person in possession of a firearm who killed two people. Those are the facts. We know he is innocent of murder, but it is still an open case and companies should probably not endorse people who are on trial for murder (even though it’s bullshit).

But why drop the blaze, other than maybe because they incorrectly attributed sponsorship to Kyle which may have been a breach in their contract.

Either way, are they really scared to lose that massive liberal white girl customer base?

The socjus mob are the sharks and concessions are blood in the water.

Disagree completely. It’s a perfect stance since they’re obviously pivoting to the SJW crowd. Gonna open up those brick and mortars in all major cities what I hear! “Yeah Susan, let’s schedule that interview for 10am at Black Rifle Coffee Co!”

Spez: it’s sarcasm! Cucks will never support BRCC so why bend to them. Double down!

i think a company should get to have a say about what materials and politics their advertiser uses for their ads.

It's obvious that Blaze didn't run this by them before putting out that promotion.

I see this incident as no different from when leftists in gaming started unilaterally using corporate IP to promote their Critical Race theory bullshit.

89
Chick-fill-eh 89 points ago +89 / -0

They did condemn him. They just didn't use those exact words.

Stand up, or get stood on. We now know where BRC sits.

42
Thequeen1 42 points ago +42 / -0

Right! Who did they think bought their coffee!

20
Jabron661 20 points ago +20 / -0

This is what I sent them at their [email protected] address.

I just wanted to let you know this is about the dumbest decision I have ever seen a company make.

I know you don't want to come out and pick sides in a legal case, and that is what you should have done, kept your mouth shut.

Do you realize you are going to lose perhaps thousands of monthly subscriptions and individual sales over this?  right now at Christmas too?  How dumb are you guys?

You are going to gain ZERO new sales from this as well. Who is going to read this in the news and say "boy I need to get some of this coffee now, they don't support gun rights and police supporters!". Sure you might get a few green hair communists to tweet their support for you, but they don't have enough money to buy your over priced swill anyway, so too bad for you.

Your company just took a step into fucking clown world and frankly I hope it bankrupts you.

Your company just became a joke in the pro gun rights community.

I cannot fathom how they thought this was a good statement to make.

87
Pickles 87 points ago +87 / -0

I'll never understand caving to people who will NEVER be your customers anyways. Frankly, if they wanted to make a good business move they should have embraced Kyle and his wearing of their shirt. That would have been much more positive than caving to people who never ever ever buy coffee with a gun in their logo.

The company starts to get big so they look to Hire the “best marketers in the business”.
All the “best marketers in the business” are soy boys.
These marketers literally can not fathom how to market to right wingers.

7
igolfohio 7 points ago +7 / -0

They have no clue. I worked in marketing. It's a self fulfilling circle jerk of their own ideology and they use brands to push their agenda. As soon as a grassroots company like BRCC start making big money, they think hiring big marketing firms will be a huge boost. It ISN'T. They piss away their money and their company every time. Just ask 84 Lumber

I keep hoping they'll toss whatever PR firm they paid to write that out on their asses and issue an actual statement.

11
ChuckedBeef 11 points ago +12 / -1

It was the co-founder making the statement, not some PR person.

I'm very happy this story is stickied. Spread the word.

I was ranting on another post about this, and it seemed like a lot of people were defending Black Rifle for some reason.

Black Rifle made a totally boneheaded, tone-deaf, unforced error.

To say you have nothing to do with someone, is to distance/disavow someone, is to oppose someone.

Perception is reality. Meaning is more than literal.

6
tajay657 6 points ago +6 / -0

Actually it is worse than that.

One of the founders is/was a Green Beret

The other is Mat Best who served with the 75th Ranger Regiment and also the CIA as a contractor. The SAD or CAF or whatever the paramilitary branch is.

From da wiki:" After leaving the military, Best completed his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, and worked as a contractor for the Central Intelligence Agency.[6][7]"

If dudes at the some of the elite regiments and tiers are doing this shit I have little hope left for the rest of the military.

: (

35
PraiseBeToScience 35 points ago +35 / -0

TBH, "as a vet"... I actually in general find myself avoiding companies that brand themselves as 'veteran owned' and push the ooo-rah military shit.

Two reasons.

First, there's like 100% correlation with any company like that and having much higher prices than anyone else. It's like a fucking 20% veteran tax to buy anything from any company that leans super-heavy on that market.

Second, it feels almost kind of greasy and comes across just feeling like a disingenuous gimmick for marketing. Like that's all their service boiled down to, was a way for them to sucker people in.

I feel like if you took the veteran/military shit off of any of these companies they'd go out of business in two months, because there's nothing there to justify what they typically charge.

25
rox369 25 points ago +25 / -0

...its a form of identity politics they use for marketing

Good point. I guess for me like , I figure the standard coffee I buy is about 14 dollars a bag. So if I was going to spend that money anyway, I might as well spend it with BRCC which at least supports things I support.

Boy was a wrong about that. Lol

5
Zambash 5 points ago +5 / -0

That makes sense to me. I'm not sure why, but my little brother in the air force takes it a step further and even refuses to take any military discounts offered by businesses.

7
PraiseBeToScience 7 points ago +7 / -0

Ironically the only places I push for military discounts from are the veteran business because it's the only way to make them affordable lmao

1
VA-Pede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, that's great for him, but I am rennovating my house, and that shit's expensive. I'll take my 10% at the place with the orange signs and buckets, thanks.

Edit: I'm just saying we need to ask Mat what the fuck is going on before we throw him under the bus. If he's cucked, then fuck him. This could have been done without his knowledge. You dumb fucks.

It's Evan... but yeah, screw them all. This is where the rubber meets the road on patriotism. Standing up for someone protecting businesses & people & having to exercise 2A to do it is supporting the Constitution. What patriotism is NOT, is whoring yourself out to gov't contractors so you can get rich off of unjustified foreign wars. That's Evan though.

3
tajay657 3 points ago +3 / -0

Honestly is seems like Mat Best took the Tucker Max route with his youtube channel, books. etc.

I thank him for his service but everything after that seems like (posted above) marketing and branding identity politics (this time veteran branded) to make a buck.

Sad.

-2
Snooptwo -2 points ago +4 / -6

Idk if this is cucking. They simply said they don’t sponsor Kyle, which is true, and they dropped the sponsorship of someone from theblaze. Why the fuck would the dude from the blaze use Kyle to pump up his sponsor anyways? Regardless of what we know to be true, that Kyle was acting in self defense, it’s still an ongoing double murder trial that their name was just unwillingly attached to. I think y’all are being to rash with this one. This isn’t like the others.

10
AngryAsian 10 points ago +10 / -0

Then why say anything? If Mike Liddel can come out and support Kyle, so can Black Rifle Coffee, they can just keep quiet if it's not a sponsorship. Those pussies can eat my ass if they think I'd ever support a company that bends the knee to the rage mob.

5
fallingjune 5 points ago +5 / -0

The dude from the blaze made an amazing mental connection. It was fantastic and made many buy the product just because.

Instead they spoke up ignorantly about something they admittedly do not understand while simultaneously taking a stance it is an American tragedy that Rittenhouse exercised his rights as an American citizen. They fucked up beyond comprehension. Now those same new and existing customers are dropping BRC.

I didn’t expect BRC to directly endorse, but I did expect them to not be two-faced about 2A.

Get the quotes from BRC here.
