Discovery recently had an episode that had a young crewman shovelling body-parts into a bucket, You'd think they would have tech for that, even the transporter. And the crewmans name?....Gene (Roddenberry?) Then they have an engineer who is so verbally abusive to fellow crewmen, she would have been transferred off the ship an any other show.

Star Trek discovery was the bastardization of everything the show once stood for. It always used somewhat plausible notions of scientific principles for their Sci-Fi. Discovery writers clearly did psychedelic drugs and decided to make a show out of it. Mushrooms to make a "spore drive"? Fuck off.

None of the characters are likable. They're annoying whiney cunts with the same shitty sarcasm that you see in the female Ghostbusters movie. It's a fucking embarrassment to the franchise.

Not to mention everyone is now an alcoholic or drug addict. Seven of 9 on Picard went from a woman recovering her humanity to a drunk lesbian who hates the universe. Everyone drinks. They smoke pot. It is a direct reflection of the miserable lives of these communists that are coming out of film school these days.

What they did to Luke Skywalker is a fucking disgrace. The Jedi Master hero of the galaxy tries to murder his own nephew and then just fucks off while his kid becomes the new Darth Vader.

Meanwhile, Han is a dead beat dad still having to smuggle shit to make a living at 75 years old. Then they just lightsaber him and toss him into a pit.

They pretend they haven’t had black or female leads on that franchise, completely ignoring the hit shows Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space 9.

DS9 actually approached the race issue in some very well written episodes, too.

They also introduced a xe xer character out of no where. I really don't give a shit about that, but the actors can't act for shit, so maybe stop trying to pigeon hole shit into a storyline that adds nothing. It's like they hired It's Pat for a serious role.
