The best, in my opinion, is Eden Sinclair, played by Rhona Mitra, from a fairly obscure movie "Doomsday". The fact that you aren't constantly reminded and smacked in the face by it being a female makes the character most effective.
It's literally the third incarnation of Snake Plissken in a mash-up of the Escape/Mad Max movies.
As an aside, Guy Pearce plays the fourth incarnation in Lockout.
Rhona Mitra is also good in "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" (with Kate Beckinsale, hnnnnggg)
>I'm a Cord Cutter and quite anti-Hollywood in general, but I do go for the occasional eye-candy hot-girl action/adventure stuff (if it's done well and not ridiculous SJW/Leftist "woke" propaganda.)
Ripley (Alien), Dana (Ghostbusters), Osbourne (Basic), Queen Amadalla (Star Wars Prequels), Leia (Star Wars Triology), Sara Connor (Terminator), Jo Harding (Twister), Lenina Huxley (Demolition Man)....
Could probably go on with portrayals of good female characters....
I saw a scene from it. They changed the movie into a Kung fu film. No wonder Disney fans hate it.
Yup. She didn't learn shit or grow. She was born fucking Neo
And more recently Cara Dune.
Trinity (Matrix) Not lead but SFC.

Champagne tastes, my friend
Luc Besson also did "La Femme Nikita" <3 <3 <3
Geena Davis is a very good action-heroine in "The Long Kiss Goodnight" (with Samuel Jackson : )
"Run Lola Run" is another standout, with Franka Potente (from the Bourne Identity & Bourne Supremacy : )
Yep. We love our fallible heros. Doesn’t hurt a thing if they have bewbs. But when they become gods because plot, they become useless.
