Once again I checked Walmart for some 20 gauge rifled slugs and they were still completely cleaned out. Went to the small chain store later on in the week and got what I wanted.
It's purely anecdotal at this point, but it does make me wonder if it's intentional that Walmart is doing a bad job of keeping ammo in stock. They did cuck out not too long ago by no longer selling handguns and "scary" rifles.
I wonder if it has anything to do with them announcing that they won't be selling many types of ammo and guns. Maybe they are just running out because their contracts are ending anyway? https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2019/09/03/walmart-stop-selling-ammunition-call-congress-new-laws/2198475001/
