I too pray that SCOTUS sees the light and what it would mean to allow this to happen, but I think it's 50/50 that they'll cuck out at the end and "for the good of the country" allow the results to stand while recognizing that the process needs "reform" and kick it back down to finding a political solution b/c states rights and all that.
Or they render a decision where it affects the outcome of only one state and the ruling is so narrow that it can only apply to that state per the "merits of the case". I don't see them making some overall sweeping decision that affects 3, 4, 5, 6+ states.
