Bad PR move, but the reason they did it is they don't just sell coffee bags to conservatives. They distribute to shops, they have cans on shelves and distribution deals.

It's all about money - of course they would have been best to say NOTHING.

Yeah I just like doing things for a good cause or to support people which is why I was going to try their coffee.

It didn’t cost them anything. Liberals are not their customers. They just insulted and betrayed their customers

Exactly. Show me a lefty buying their coffee.

TBH that sounds a bit like the virtue signaling idiocy that destroyed comics "I was going to buy your comic, but it's full of racist bigoted homophobes so I'll save my money now. Thanks Marvel/DC/other"

EpicPede 26 points ago +28 / -2

Yes its like that, except we are right.

it's not so much about right or wrong but you can't let the left boycott companies while corporations shill for them and do nothing, you have to fight back

Yeah and anyone that was into comics has watched as the comics industry has been on a sharp decline for years. It's so bad that Marvel and DC are both talking about not even making comics anymore. They'll then try to use the corona virus an excuse, but those of us in the know know that it's been their pushing of work politics for nearly the past decade that has driven away their customers.

When you take a hero like Captain America and turn him into a Nazi, then take his archenemy the Red Skull and have him recite conservative talking points to villainize them, you're going to lose your customers. It's an easy bet to guess that I haven't bought a single Captain America comic since then and that they didn't bring in any new customers to replace me.

At first I lamented the comic industry's collapse, but now I welcome it. Let them burn in the fire they created.

I mean, if you haven't spent money the FYI is appreciated... but you really don't have any skin in this game tbh. You're doing the same virtue signaling nonsense that we have called out the other side for doing for years now.

IMO virtue signaling weakens your position.

There's a big difference between virtue signaling or trying to get something canceled for woke points and boycotting a company whose values are antithetical to your own. The former is an attempt to slander and destroy, whereas the latter is just a refusal to provide support.

Forgive me if I don't want my money to end up in the hands of antifa + assorted groups and the dems pockets when these same companies cuck out completely and donate to them like chickfila did.

The difference with comics was non-comic fans were surging in to complain about z and demanding it got changed, then they pandered, they're doing the same thing with warhammer 40k, most of these fanbases don't give a damn about being woke as seen by gamergate.

I don't go to leftist knitting clubs and try to torpedo their hobbies by implementing my politics into them, I just ignore them. I'm well within my rights not to give money to a company I used to support that turned its back on me, I'm not ruining it for anyone else in that instance.

In this case BRC claims to support 2A and it turns out they don't really, when it comes down to it.

If you can't see the difference between boycotting (which I'm totally fine with the left doing, it's a free market) and the left's censorship/deplatforming/harassment campaigns you're being willfully obtuse.

Strongly disagree. Black Rifle was unique in that it advertised to conservatives, and purchasing it as a product was something for conservatives to do to choose to purchase from a brand that specifically reflected their values. It was the Raid: Shadow Legends of conservative media. Nobody was earnestly buying from this brand because they thought it was good coffee alone.

"It's all about money"

Well boy oh boy is this a great way to lose money. Leftists would look at the name of the coffee on the bag and want to figure out a way to ban the scary name due to it mentioning a rifle. I'm sure they understand who their target market was - they are just fucking retarded. KEK!

That's the thing. I understand the whole argument of "if they said nothing they also appeal to liberals" without realizing liberals weren't buying their coffee to begin with. Liberals hated them and probably still hate them. The better business strategy is to pander to the people who are already supporting you and keeping you afloat and double down on them. It's the same thing with NASCAR when they did the BLM shit, they don't realize that blue collar, conservative, southern White Christians are the ones who made NASCAR a household name, they don't NEED any liberals watching and quite frankly NASCAR isn't for liberals anyway. It's just like with the recent election, Trump won last time by only winning the White vote, and this time he not only got the White vote but also got a significant amount of the black and Hispanic vote and they STILL want us to believe Biden won.

They don’t want to lose their product placement at Bass Pro shop I bet

Canada has them listed on their black list of arms manufacturers or something in a law they recently passed.

They're so dumb they listed a coffee company on a black list of an arms manufacturer IN A LAW because of the name "black rifle".....

Cuckery knows no bounds on stupidity.

Bad PR move

Correct. You can stop there. Nobody actually complaining would represent a significant market share. Normies who don't care about politics wouldn't even know about it and probably don't even know who the kid is and wouldn't understand the complaints. Nobody reasonable thinks that someone wearing a company's shirt is a reverse endorsement of that person by the company.

Have you seen their videos? They make fun of leftists, SJWs and other hypocrites all the time.

That makes the whole affair even more sad.
