Is this one of the clowns that has been lying to America about the wars in the Middle East? Same crowd that lied to the President about troop levels in Syria?

Not quite. He was the most honest of the clowns, showed his hand and Trump let him go early on in his admin (with a polite Twitter send off). He was a brilliant guy, but became corrupted when Obama threatened to end his career (and he would be blacklisted) if he didn't pledge his loyalty to him. SAD!
