"Phobe" label is fucking wrong in the way it is used. Comes from phobia, from greek Φόβος , meaning fear, and it identifies a particular kind of irrational unjustified fear.

A "Homophobe" does not fear gay people, same as how a "Xenophobe" doesn't necessarily fear foreigners.

It is wrong, but the language the left uses is always intentional. It’s meant to blur the line between the rational and irrational. So that the lexicon surrounding purely rational thought muddies so normies start to relate the term phobe as actual irrational thought.

Agoraphobia for example is of course irrational. Not complimenting a man on his uncanny valley version of what he thinks are feminine looks is not irrational, but the goal is to make it seem irrational to hold this viewpoint.
