I hate these comparisons to Caesar. That’s the MSM trying to cast the narrative of Trump as an dictator. Nothing could be further than the truth.

Trump won this election LEGALLY’ in an overwhelming landslide and democrats and deep state are trying to steal the American people of their votes via criminal and treasonous voter fraud. Trump is pursuing fully legal and constitutional restitution.

Stop comparing Trump to Caesar. It’s nothing the same

However if Trump declared himself dictator to save the republic, I'd be fine with it.

A supremely foolish, and un-American proposal. How long would our nation last, if Trump's great-great-grandson, many years later down the line of succession to propose or whatever? becomes indistinguishable from the worst of globalists, and who instead of the power of the people's vote functioning as his Damocles sword, he would instead be unabated, and unassailable? Many sons who have grown to evil men have forgone the lessons of their forefathers. An "American king" is impossible. By our very nature, such a thing existing would spell the immediate end of America.

I am not surprised Rufus King said such a thing, for his family was (and possibly remains through decendants) active in British political life before he pursued the same in America, and it is likely that he who spent many of his years in service as a diplomat of ours to Britain would remain comfortable in the presence of previous allegiances.

Alexander Hamilton was warrish, a true hawk of his time. I trust little he said on policy that did not have a connection to financial matters (his forte), and with this quote I see my policy proved wise. If Hamilton had such monarchist sympathies at the time of his Cabinet service, it is clear they were not taken as serious, or he would have hung as a traitor to hard-fought liberty.

We are nation whose laws are made by THOSE THEY GOVERN. You speak of other monarchist examples, who abdicated or transitioned peacefully, and those are correct. And it is also correct that their respective reigns are the extreme minority, for history is rife with tyrranical despots who claimed the title "king" or "emperor" or "tsar".

I refuse to entertain this further than this comment, for what you propose is so antithetical to my beliefs of personal freedom and governance of the people that I find it revolting. And speaking of revolting, I wonder how Louis XIV thought HIS grandson would turn out...

Although our core beliefs are polarized, you have conducted yourself admirably and respectfully. Because it can be rare today and I want to encourage such discourse from others, please accept my thanks for your timely response and your courtesy.

It doesn’t have to be a monarchy, he could be like President Washington.

That is fallacious. Considering your proposal poorly is not equivalent to calling DJT or Flynn liars. It means we consider your proposal poor, be it in the name of a good man or bad.

Trump and Flynn are correct that the end is near. The end of this struggle, for the truth. Not the End. Reading "the end" as so extreme, in the context of a law abiding military officer with a good head on his shoulders, I find to be poorly placed.

I concede that his choice of such "light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel" semantics does weaken my point's standing in favor of you. However, I would also pose that the end (of a struggle) and the seeing of truth (at that struggle's conclusion) still do not constitute de-facto prediction that an apocalyptic end of our country or others is nigh, even if that struggle and truth are viewed separately as you proffer.
