This is pretty simple to me and a reflection of the system that was put into place here. Either people like something and upvote it or they don't and it never rises. But regardless of how you feel about what others should or should not talk about, this is not the place to tell others what they are allowed to discuss or like.

You personally may not like the recent discussion about Black Rifle Coffee but it is very apparent that somebody does, a lot of people actually. So if you are going to make a post telling other people what they can and can not discuss, are you sure you are in the right place? Because this feels very similar to what we left behind over at Reddit.

the problem is that its just coming off as whiny, selfish and actually fascist.

That’s another thing about this situation. Having a different opinion is being equated with being less committed to the cause. These people’s inner Stalin is coming out.

Mat Best joined the Army at the age of 17 and deployed five times to Iraq and Afghanistan with the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. After leaving military service, Mat deployed to a variety of overseas locations as a contractor during his five years with the CIA. Mat graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, and began creating satirical videos and building brands like Article 15 Clothing, Leadslingers Spirits, the Drinkin' Bros Podcast, and Black Rifle Coffee Company.

How long have you two been dating?

Great argument, that is exactly how arguments and discussion work.

Are you deranged? You start giving an Amway sales pitch about Mat Best when literally nobody had mentioned his name in the discussion.

yeah I personally am not attacking him, merely defending our right to discuss things as free Americans under our constitutional right to free speech. I'm a freedom of speech advocate, and as such I will continue express my thoughts about others attempting to restrict another American's speech regardless of the subject matter or people involved.

so then wouldn't you agree that we are constitutionally protected to disagree?

absolutely, but I find it troubling that you would want to disagree with freedom of speech.
