This is pretty simple to me and a reflection of the system that was put into place here. Either people like something and upvote it or they don't and it never rises. But regardless of how you feel about what others should or should not talk about, this is not the place to tell others what they are allowed to discuss or like.

You personally may not like the recent discussion about Black Rifle Coffee but it is very apparent that somebody does, a lot of people actually. So if you are going to make a post telling other people what they can and can not discuss, are you sure you are in the right place? Because this feels very similar to what we left behind over at Reddit.

So you're telling me NOT to talk about how all the BRC crap is boring and overdone; and NOT to express my opinion that I wish they'd just STFU about it already. Aren't you doing exactly what you're complaining about? Hmmmm?

It's weird that real breaking news will hit the NEW thread multiple times but after an hour or two you won't see any more posts on it. BRC on the other hand just won't go away. It's old news. At this point it's just spam.

in a twisted bit of irony, yes telling others to not tell others what not to talk about is indeed infringing on one's freedom of speech. But with that said, I'm curious as to why you think its ok for people to attempt to dictate what others can discuss?

I don't. Just expressing my opinion about all the BRC posts today. It's my opinion that they are overdone.
