I went to whole foods and they were super appreciative that I put one on. They knew it was dumb but prob their company policy. Typically wouldn’t but whole foods is pretty hippy.
The last time I went there, the greeters had giant masks on and started yelling, "Good morning, Ma'am! We have a freshly sanitized cart just for your convenience." I felt kind of bad they have to do this, though.
I haven't worn one once in the 5 months that my asshole governor has mandated them. Walmart, Target, Petsmart, Petco, Home Depot, Kroger and several others.
I carry a fake doctor's note and an inhaler that my asthmatic friend gave me. Just having the doctor's note in hand is enough to get me anywhere. Only a couple of businesses have dared to ask to see it. Honestly, it'd be easier to wear a mask but it's the principle.

Surrounded by masks all day also. Anyone who told me I needed a mask I told them thank you and kept moving. I didn't see anyone take theirs off all the way, just pulled their mask under their chin.
I've been telling everyone they changed the rules at cdc and WHO and all states and that we don't have to wear them now. Everyone.
I’m deep in lefty territory (Portland, OR) but I’m gonna try leaving my mask off. It causes my glasses to fog up real badly anyway.
