Assuming it's a normal 308 win, I can't help you. Try online, I haven't seen any in store for 2 months

Purchased one myself right before all the lock downs and panic buying. I saw what was coming and jumped on it. It's a lovely weapon. .308 sure isn't cheap these days. I use www.ammoseek.com to find who is selling the cheapest. You can filter by grain, casing, etc. I believe I read that it's best to use 168 grain and not to use reloads, though I am not 100% sure.

You're about a year late for "reasonably priced" ammo. That said, check ammoseek, there's usually someone who has what you need in stock.

Keep checking, give it a few days. Stock fluctuates. This is just a bad time to buy ammo, is all. That SA is probably decent stuff, especially if it's in the plastic "battle packs"; likely loaded pretty hot but M1A should handle it I think.
