She is unofficially on his legal team, but she's NOT being paid by Trump. That's important because Trump is going to pardon Flynn and he doesn't want people to credibly object that Flynn influenced him through a proxy, namely Powell. If she had been retained by Flynn and Trump at the same time it would create the appearance of a conflict of interest. Anyone helping Trump is on his "team." Hell, I'M on his team.

He can't pardon Flynn because he hasn't been convicted of anything. Judge is playing games running out the clock for biden presidency which won't come.

Common sense

  1. Flynn is innocent
  2. Trump respects loyalty
  3. Flynn has been loyal
  4. Trump has NOTHING to lose by pardoning Flynn and a lot to gain, especially since it will end Flynn's gag order.
  5. Flynn has valuable information that will help Trump defeat his enemies
  6. If Trump fails to defeat his enemies then he will lose and they will likely do everything in their power to destroy his life, his family members lives, and our lives.

Why not pardon before now?

Powell actually asked Trump to not pardon Flynn because he, being an innocent man, deserved to be exonerated in public court; and a Presidential pardon would be used by the corrupt media to paint Trump as obstructing justice. It could have endangered his re-election.
