Trump's legal team put out a letter that everyone freaked out because it sounded like distancing from Sidney Powell, except they were just clarifying she's not a paid member of the legal team and is providing her services pro bono(free). It was done for legal reasons. I've only been here about an hour today, but shills gonna shill, so we continue to deport and move on.

I wonder why they made the statement so vague. She should have clarified it a bit more to avoid causing upset among the base. Its a very abrupt statement just saying she has no association with Trump or the legal team. Yet it conflicts with Trump's tweets saying she is working for him, appearing with the legal team, etc.
I'm sure she's working with them in this effort, but they key is 'with' not 'for'. The legal team had to put out a statement probably because news reports were going around saying Dominion should sue them for defamation based on what Sidney's been saying/tweeting. Probably has to do with obscure legal reasons that it needed specific clarification.
