For those of you who want to help but aren't sure where to start (or maybe even for those of you who have already started but may not be aware), there's an entire guidebook written for this in the intelligence industry. It's most widely used in cybersecurity industry but also in forensics:

OSINT (or Open-source intelligence) is the best way to uncover information and should be used by anyone hoping to uncover more evidence to link these criminals to their crimes and eachother.
