I don't recall anyone ever officially saying she was on the team. I think misconceptions were made because they've been working together, sharing information, and presented together at that one conference. She's independent so she has full control of her case and her team. I don't see why all the drama from certain people, it's not like there's any indication of her saying, "screw this, I'm out."
I for one think Sidney should refrain from dosing the kraken with any performance enhancing drugs. I don't want SCOTUS ruling that our kraken is disqualified because he was doping.
