I read somewhere that most of the Californians moving to Texas are actually conservatives jumping ship from CA. Rural areas in CA are mostly conservative.
We get the NY, CA, MI, IL blue transplants around here...they can ALL fuck off! We do welcome those conservatives seeking asylum from their blue areas.
Disagree 100%, we CA conservatives (especially those of us who grew up in cities like LA) were forged in fire and have had to grow insanely thick skin being behind enemy lines and living under a tyrannical one party lefty state government. I've met Texans with very strong convictions but they generally just like being left alone, they're not as combative as we've evolved to be. Hence why the CA conservatives are going straight for the jugular and literally not allowing Gruesome Newsom any sleep with their protests past curfew.
That is the exact reason why we need more conservatives to move to Texas to offset all of the Californian locusts who are destroying the state

I will say conservatives in Cali are probably considered moderates in TX.

Not so in some places. I'm surrounded by leftists that came here for the tech jobs. I don't even recognize my own city anymore.
