Is a Mediazombie. She went to a Doctor for routine checkup who told her that she should stay at home and not go anywhere because this disease is really dangerous.
The choices MIL gave wife and me were, well, I can come, but everybody should wear a mask.

Mom’s doctor said same thing. I totally canceled my trip because the family thinks they’re all getting tested in order to go to thanksgiving dinner.
What they don’t realize is they set a terrible precedent and it will never go away.

My parents canceled on us because my MIL is out of the country right now and is flying back on Tuesday. They believe 2 days doesn’t give enough time to show any possible symptoms.
I’m disappointed, but respect their choice. Dad’s almost 80 with heart problems and my step mom is immuno compromised.
Do I think they are overreacting? Of course. However they have to make the best decisions for themselves.
I respect people making their own choices, I'm still not buying how it's selfish of me to not be given the same courtesy by the Maskholes.
