I think that's a myth. Gun safety instructors explicitly tell you to store your ammo in cool dry places away from water, solvents and other chemicals. If you dip it in pigs blood there's a high chance the powder or primer might not ignite.
I am open to being corrected on this however, but any instructor would probably swat my head for suggesting that.
