No, that is not what i said. What i said, was making illicit substances legal will not help addicts fight their addictions. It will make the problems worse. I, as an alcaholic made bad choices, no criminal activity, at least as far as this mortal life is concerned, and the alcohol made those choices easier to make, less inhibition. Don't put words in my mouth. If a person were suicidal and i gave them a telephone and a loaded gun, which would be easier for them to do? Call someone and open themselves up to a stranger, or pull a trigger. Making the option legal doesn't help the suicidal.

You’re totally ignoring the part of the law where they’re funding putting them in treatment facilities instead of jails because jails don’t rehabilitate people they make them turn back to those same drugs. They’re not legalized they’re decriminalized because criminalizing drugs and alcohol never works. It’s not an accident we import 60% of the worlds poppy production and yet we make up 5% of the global population.

Know what else isnt a coincidence? Need new public dollars to provide new facilities to treat those patients. Hmmmm.....i bet they included new taxes in that bullshit too didn't they? Hmmmm, i wonder how many people will have to be hired for these new facilities........ hmmmmmm... wonder who will profit off of all this newly expanded bread and circuses........ addicts dont seek treatment willingly.......you either get the point or you dont. If you dont, i cant help you. So. C.i.a. runs drugs out of vietnam under Air America, gets caught, brushed under rug. C.i.a. protects poppy fields in Afghanistan, and your solution to stop that is to make heroin legal in an American city because that will help treatment facilities treat heroin addicts better........ that is literally insane.

Wtf are you talking about? Do you know how much it costs to imprison people? Way more than providing treatment that will save us money because they won’t be doing a bunch of other illegal shit because they’re not high all the time. It’s almost like you don’t actually give a shit about your fellow countryman.

Do you not understand the difference of legalization and decriminalization? Putting people in jail doesn’t stop people from being addicts nor does it decrease the amount of drugs brought into the country.
