Trump is not in the habit of lying to his supporters. We are now faced with two options. Either Rudy and Sydney both lied, in which case why is Rudy not gone too; or, Trump actually lied.
Assuming that Trump is consistent and not lying, then the actual lie is about Sydney Powell and Rudy. A third third option exists that something completely different is going on. The clue as to what might be going on rests in the why she was removed from Trumps team.

She was never part of the Trump Campaign legal team to begin with, that's why she's not at press conferences with Lin or Rudy. She did her own work independently, and the Trump campaign reaffirmed that she wasn't part of the legal team.
This gives her more power to pursue her own cases against the fraud, and also allows her to go after RINOs.

If it's recent, I'd say it's part of the fake news push to try and indicate some sort of dissonance between the teams where in reality there is none.
If it's old, I'd say it probably has something to do with her being the lawyer for Flynn.
The statement regarding her not and never being part of the campaign legal team has been echoed by her, the Trump team, and even her on twitter via Flynn's brother.

So no question exists that the document is here -- alas the search feature.
It is recent, and I do not believe its fake. If someone does indeed believe it to be fake, I would request they make a post regarding that info as it would be extremely helpful.

Sydney Powell wasn't fired. She was never directly employed by the President or the Campaign team to start with. She is "on the team" in the sense that she is on our side and working towards our goals, but her cases are legally distinct from the cases being brought by Giuliani's team.
So what we have here is a bunch of evidence that clearly states she was part of the team; and a bunch of evidence that says she was not on the team. It's not a discrepancy. She's on our team. The notice today clarified that she is an independent lawyer that is not working for President Trump or the campaign in an official capacity. That isn't a change in the situation, it's the way things have always been.
The only research you need is the official campaign statements and the statements made by Powell herself. At no point was she represented as having been hired by President Trump or working for Giuliani who is the official lead of the Campaign legal team.

While technically, you may well be correct that she is not and has not been part of the team, the optics have in no question been different.

I never gave it much thought one way or the other. There’s probably some legal technicality they are trying to distinguish for. Maybe it’s so when the Trump team is presenting their case in court they won’t be asked to produce anything having to do with her research.
