Same here. When I think back to how I was as a girl, I'd definitely be considered trans by today's standards.

What's really heartbreaking is that I get why the kids go along with it. Growing up can be really painful for some of us. You can feel horribly alone and not be able to find people you relate to.

Then somebody says, "I know why you feel weird or sad or confused all the time. You're in the wrong body! We'll just chop off this bit here and give you shots and you'll feel RIGHT for the first time in your life."

Then we wonder why these kids are still killing themselves.
