Can confirm much of psychology is a SJW haven. Would have to beg to differ on the ratio of meaningful work done by psychologists, having seen a great many helped by myself, and yes, even my leftist peers. Still, sadly the myopic focus on immediate pain reduction blinds too many to the second-order consequences of endless IEPs, emphasis on external loci of control, and dimensional (rather than categorical) diagnostic structures. Not to mention the poison of moral relativism and subjective reality. But these are systemic problems and not inherently opposed to the direct work of psychology. It’s a corruption in psychology, not the heart.
