His take was that missed vaccines was a harmful side-effect of lockdowns (I disagree), but the data definitely showed a big decrease in those appointments and vaccines.
But yeah, totally agree with you on rushed vaccines. We need years and years of study before a vaccine can be considered 'safe'.

There's also a lot written about the polio vaccine in the 50's making the outbreak worse, not better. Polio was likely about to be under control before widespread vaccination programs were implemented. Pediatricians were not closed at any time during the pandemic, my baby was born in March and made every wellness check. This was in a blue state as well. But yes, rushed vaccines are dangerous.
