None of the family or friends were executed or gassed. The one that died were killed by a typhus outbreak. The father Otto Frank survived the war and became very wealthy talking about it. There are doubts the Diary itself is even authentic.
The camps Patton liberated were just prison camps with swimming pools, libraries, theaters, and medical facilities. Go figure the only death camps that were “found” were found by the Soviets and we took their word for it.

Also curious how the Red Cross was on site. In every camp. Literally looking for human rights violations.
