eh keep them 7 years as long as tax stuff, but digitally. Scan every one and keep on a copy...but then again they could manipulate digital copies if they wanted.

No way. Computers are way too easy to modify. Something as importanf as a ballot needs to have a physical copy to verify the integrity.
