The nursing home part is the absolute worst part of this. I have an extended family member who was just put into a dementia care home a couple months back and she can only get one visitor at a time... on the other side of an external window... and has to use a phone like she's a fucking prisoner. This is cruel. She ends up crying when the visitor needs to leave. This has to stop. All of this bullshit "to save just one life" needs to stop. People die. Get the fuck over it, libtards.

Whenever someone says the save one life bullshit, tell them shutting down the border and putting the military there would save millions of lives over time because 90% of heroin comes from South of the border. If we could save one life by taking this common sense measure, it's worth it.

The excuse of "literally anything is worth it, if it saves one life" is usable literally anywhere.

Nuking China would save at least one life from lead poisoning, and if it means saving one life by this simple action... They've already outright declared that suicide rates and the economy are not concerns to them. They KNOW that those are deaths. Preventable deaths. Of youth and working-aged people. But any amount of deaths and suffering is worth it if it means saving one life to them. So why not nuke China? That's the logical conclusion to their thought process, after all: Any amount of people dead is worth saving a singular life to them.

The uptick in suicide is a huge issue. In my tiny town, in one day a couple months back, 13 kids ended up in the ER from trying to commit suicide. No one heard about this and I only know because an ER nurse told someone I know.
