Thank you for this reminder! It's bad enough when you hear a BLM activist say that to preserve our "democracy" we must eliminate the electoral college (huh?), but when most elected Demoncrats call the nation a "democracy," it is a national security issue. James Monroe warned: "It is only when the People become ignorant and corrupt, when they degenerate into a populace, that they are incapable of exercising their sovereignty. Let us, by all wise and constitutional measures, promote intelligence among the People, as the best means of preserving our liberties." If conservatives do not wake up and start focusing on what is happening in our schools at every level, we will lose our constitutional republic.

I can't stand the word "democracy." Mostly, because democrats worship at the altar of it. Democracy is mob rule, pure and simple.

People who use it are ignorant. In their slight defense, I think what they're trying to say is "self-determination."
