Barnes is ok, he just think Powell has gone a little crazy and can't prove the things she is saying. These guys originally figured she had something. So I don't know and we won't know until she files the lawsuit. She has talked it up. But now she has to deliver.
I don't think so, he makes some very valid points.
For example, everyone was doing crowdsourcing, looking for dead voters, and more involved until Powell's "trust the plan and "release the Kraken". Now the majority of the base is heavily emotionally tied into her. If you check Twitter, there were tons of Trump supporters posting that they were scared about the statement released and terrified that everything is falling apart. If you even question Powell now, many people get angry and emotional.
Everything started getting focused on Powell's much more grand claims (which are much harder to prove in court) are forgetting about Rudy and Jenna's already strong, simple signature/ballot/Constitutional evidence.
Like Barnes said, we went from focusing on the strong and simple fraud (which is more than enough to secure Trump's win) to going down rabbit holes of vast theories that there's an international communist plot to change votes via the voting machines. He said maybe that's true, but the amount of evidence that you would need is more than some affidavits. You would need actual data from the servers, for example. Maybe Powell has that, I don't know. I suspect the Trump team confronted her about it and maybe thought it wasn't enough to prove in court yet.
If you start complicating legal fights with stuff that can easily be picked apart, it distracts and destroys the credibility of the simple evidence.
I think its great that Trump publicly distanced himself from Powell. Lets get back to the basic and win this via the Constitutional route because that is the easy win.
If Powell can eventually produce an airtight case to prove her claims (Trump won all states by 7+ points, Obama hacked the 2012 election, Trump won California, top Republican and Democrat officials are receiving communist money, etc.) then even better.
Well, a lot of Trump supporters were watching that stream and look at the comments they were posting. People get angry if you even question Powell. That leads me to believe people are getting heavily emotionally invested in her, and if anyone goes as much as questioning if she is able to produce substantial evidence to back her huge claims (such as Trump winning every single state) they get attacked.
Same goes even on here, whenever I offer a different perspective (even if its a positive perspective) people get irrationally angry.
No doubt that Powell has earned respect. Her expertise is in prosecution though, not civil or election cases. Right now Rudy and the Trump team are focused on the civil case, whereas Powell seems to be heading more toward the criminal case side.
Trump campaign separating themselves is not bad at all. I personally believe they are pursuing different angles, they are going to the signature/ballot/Constitutional angle. This angle is more than enough to win alone.
Meanwhile, if Powell can prove her case separately, its even better.
The thing is, we don't know if she's actually pulling her fair share or whether she's derailing the entire thing. What we do know is that the Trump campaign lawyers officially distanced themselves from her case even though they didn't need to.
He's not going after her, all he says was he suspected that she's susceptible to following disinformation and rabbit holes that can't be proven. Based on what I saw, Powell started out on the right track but started going down different rabbit holes from stuff posted on here and 4chan that was sent to her. I saw her repeat that stuff without seemingly have enough time to fully vet it.
Supposedly he mentions he's advising the Trump legal team now. He has been working hard to focus on the more realistic, strong, and simple arguments since the election and has been warning about not falling for disinformation (since the left loves to purposely lead people off the trail such as leaking disinformation to destroy credibility of the credible evidence, etc.).
He is in favor of Trump winning, but he's a bit more level-headed and nothing wrong with listening to different perspectives into falling into an echo chamber where we scream "RELEASE THE KRAKEN" over and over.

Barnes may be the bad guy.

I was more so referring to what I saw last night, even Wood responded to one: https://twitter.com/LLinWood/status/1330669456519991297?s=20

Confirmation bias butthurt?
I already deported this shill. Guess you'll go too.
Now why would he go after a woman who is pulling more than her fair share of the load uphill against resistance?
Why it is almost as if he ain't really in favor of a Trump win, innit.

YOU might not know, that is all. YOU cannot explain how she would derail anything, she is not a part of Trump's team, never has been.
And no, Trump did not distance himself it was merely pointed out, perhaps simply to flush more shills out of the way.
Voulez-vous capische? No? Lurk Moar.
