My great aunt went to a Unitarian church. Our whole family is pretty orthodox Lutheran and actively practicing. I was SO CONFUSED at her funeral. I figured it was some evangelical branch I’d never heard of. NOPE. Straight up just a weird SJW cult that pretends it’s a church. They’re all atheist. Apparently before she died she told my grandma (her sister) that she wanted a real Christian funeral etc. my grandma (she was super based, politically involved her whole life) straight up told her own sister “you can’t have it both ways, you either truly accept and worship Christ or you don’t”. And she’s right.
