Well there are some shills here today. So that’s prolly some of the downvotes and a few well meaning pedes are very immature and downvote anything that isn’t Pollyanna super duper “yes! I’m not worried at all!”
True on the shills. As far as the overly enthusiastic, it was not in any way meant to be a doomer post. It's important to have a rounded perspective on all the ways this could be beneficial for us or negative.
Appreciate your response, thanks for the perspective
Yes but there's also such a thing as getting tired of gloom & doom, concern and worry, looking for how this could be bad, negative negative negative. So some people could understandably downvote for negativity. We, like any fighting force, need morale boosting positivity, IMHO, rather than seeking more things to worry about. Yes all facts are welcome not only positive ones...but attaching negative energy and emotion to them accomplishes nothing. (Not stating anyone in this thread did that, speaking generally)
By the way, I'm not "worried" at all. Fuck that. Worry is just wasted mental energy. If you're worried, you're paying attention to the wrong people and what they say, and inducing stress on yourself.
Consider:
If you worry and the bad thing never happens (which is 95% of the time), then you wasted all that time and energy worrying for nothing.
If you worry and the bad thing happens anyway (despite your best worrying efforts), then you wasted all that time and energy worrying for nothing.
Trump himself said, and I quote, "Don't worry." :)
I just down voted you and I'm grateful for the privilege this site accords me to do it, we don't censor each other with ridicule here. Everyone's opinion is just as good as yours and your friend.
I've worked with lawyers on appeal cases - as is typical with any litigation, appeals can take a LONG time. The fastest ones can take months to resolve. So the fact that the appeal was filed last week, and it was granted today, with the brief in support due TODAY and the reply due tomorrow? That is unheard of. It's very good that the Court agrees and lets us make the argument.
Whether it could be a bad thing that it's going through so quickly - well, it's only bad if the lawyers don't have their shit together and can't put a good argument before the Court.
I didn't downvote you pede, but I get sick of everyone telling me that Trump has lost/is going to lose/ can't win, etc. So, possibly it's that. I dunno. I come here and I want to see the positive side of things because I get the negative side of things from everyone I talk to: neighbors, friends, etc. I want this forum to be optimistic. Honestly, no one knows who will win. No one can. But I want to at least see the positive/optimistic side of things (Trump Will Win) when I come here.

I read this excellent remark ↑ right after posting in support of everything in it :)
Great answer! Can I ask, how carved in stone is that Dec. 14th date—is it conceivably open to adjustment under the right circumstances? Can they buy more time?
Yeah people kind of forget that the dems dragged out the recounts but once the Bush team had enough, they ran thru the courts pretty quickly. Well as quickly as courts move anyway.
Yes, the Equal Protection clause of the 14th amendment.

I might be confusing the nature of the case, but one of the things I though they were going to argue in this case, was that PA changed the election law unconstitutionally (only state legislature can do that). GA had a similar situation and so did MI, I think.
Prob is PA is already so corrupt that standard logical arguments may not hold at initial passes. Used to live there years ago and would never go back. It’s a HUGE Problem.
In fact—I may need to ping their voter page and see if somebody voted in my name!!!!
Moving along nicely.
I know we all want immediate action, but this is light speed for legal proceedings.
We'll win.
There's a mountain of evidence that they cheated in this election in every possible way.
How YOU doin'
Mittens! You suck.
Haha, I sure hope not.
Your username reminded me of this Family Guy clip.
A joke like this now would get the show cancelled by the climate alarmist mob
^^
😂
NOICE!
I love the high energy and humor of TDWin - better than coffee and a great antidote for the gloom drones out there.
lol..
Amen, I've never seen anything moved through this fast before.
What's the significance of it being pumped through so quickly?
It could be a bad thing being pumped through so quickly, couldn't it?
Edit: Why am I being downvoted for a serious question, pedes?

So a mix. Don’t take it to heart.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. Exactly what I was looking for, much love.
What do you guess the odds of that are in this case?

Trump's specialty... getting shit done, FAST.
You should see me on Taco Bell Tuesdays.....
👍🏻

I have. The speed of Kamala's knees dropping when she was offered a gov't job.
We need more than PA. How are the lawsuits going in other states?
My understanding of the strategy, is that if we win in PA, it will create legal precedent that can be used in other states....GA, MI, WI.

I thought the PA strategy hinged on the vast number of ballots that came in after the 8:00 deadline, that Alito nixed?
Almost positive they were curing in Arizona

PA will set the tone and some precedent for the other states

Great.
That briefing schedule is insane. I can't imagine trying to write an appellate brief in fed court in a day.
