That makes logical sense. But if you look at the WI cameras, they’re so far back you couldn’t even see if someone set a ballot to the side on the table and then “forgot” to add it back to the final count, for example. Also, on Saturday I saw 6 links for live feeds, and only 2 of them even showed an image. (The others were having some sort of “technical difficulties.”)
The camera coverage is incompetent at best and intentionally concealing things at worst (likely).
The official justification is they dont' want you to tell the world "Jane Doe voted for candidate X" . We know they're using it to hide fraud, they know their using it to hide fraud, but they'll stick to that shred of legal basis.

Those ballots are disassociated from the caster, aren't they?
