It was really eye opening because I, like many here, don’t watch MSM news. I didn’t even know that they are pushing a grand “third wave” until now. The media must be drilling it into them 24/7 because they’re scared shitless of this more-so than ever. Some of them want us all to wear masks to Thanksgiving... 😂 I don’t really understand it. I feel like some of these people treat the Virus as their religion. It’s something they supplant God with because they have a void.

Correct. Evil thrives on fear and lies. Normies don't even realize it, until it is too late. We live in the most risk adverse society in human history and they would be led anywhere as long as the fear is enough.
We've had an example of all this for a few decades called global cooling/warming/climate change.
It really does have a physical effect. I could go on for days about all the ways my life improved when I cut the cable and started recognizing that nearly everything on TV, movies, radio, and the internet was a coordinated effort to make me miserable for the purpose of manipulating my behavior.
It's the psychological equivalent of chugging raw sewage daily and wondering why you're dying of sepsis.
Yeah it's always a light bulb moment when you don't watch the MSM, you see people acting weird, and then someone tells you the latest news and you realize it's all from some BS narrative.
I agree, it's as if a lot of people have embraced this because as you say, it fills a void. Mask wearing is like the ultimate virtue signalling opportunity and I think there's a large percentage of the population who won't want to relinquish that any time soon. That sounds even more crazy as I'm writing it, but it's what I'm seeing.
I stopped watching any msm 5 years ago and I'm so glad. I've been lucky enough to carry on working in the office the whole time since March and I see some of my colleagues come in occasionally who've been working from home and they're petrified. Applying hand sanitiser every 30 seconds and actually flinching when someone (wearing a mask unless it's me) walks past on the corridor. It's clear to me that they've been successfully terrorised by the media into believing that this is the bubonic plague we're dealing with.
I see very clearly now, in people who I otherwise respect, the power of the msm's conditioning. It's actually pretty freaky to witness it first hand.

The cases are faked using tests magnified beyond any remote scientific usefulness.
The deaths are faked by attaching "covid" diagnoses to a small percent of the quarter million+ that die every month in the US from cancer, heart attack, diabetes, etc.
Ask your family how many people they've known personally in their life that got cancer and how many died. Then ask the same for covid.
For me it's about:
30 people with cancer, with at least 5 deaths
1 person who apparently tested positive for covid, 0 deaths

If your family demands muzzles at your own damn Thanksgiving, then don't go. Tell them why, and say that you will not see them until they get some common sense. If Thanksgiving is happening at your own house, tell them that wearing masks is banned. If they question it, respond saying "BELIEVE THE SCIENCE!" while quoting the several studies done on the effectiveness (or lack thereof) of the muzzles.
