I'm back (thanks, Mods!), but while in TD timeout I sat and thought about just how difficult it is to discuss anti-Semitism and the scary parallels that seem to be coming up all the time from the Left.
For me, that's the 1933 I'm worried about. Not a Weimar, or Lugenpresse, but the disenfranchisement of entire populations of people, and that's what the rhetoric at the moment seems to be leaning towards from the Left.
And that's scary. Lists of supporters being compiled by political Kommisars; limits on gathering sizes that only seem to apply to certain political groups; the encouragement of a Stasi-like spy on your neighbour mentality. And so on.
Sorry for the late response, and howdy again! The check on all of this is our Second Amendment. It's why firearm ownership is so important to the American lifestyle. As long as I have my guns, and other minority groups including the religious minority I'm a part of embraces firearm ownership, then we have nothing to fear.
Remember, Hitler took the guns, and Stalin went after the guns. Once they are gone, then the leftists can do their nefarious deeds, including going after the Jews, which they seem to love going after.
