Unsure if it changed anything, but definitely felt like a morale boost and got some attention at the local level in contested states while legal team was radio silent. I can't tell if he's ego driven or not, but he has a point about the GOP and RNC taking trump for granted (except for fund raising and votes). Raises an important negotiating point if nothing else. If you want Trump' s base with you, you better get with Trump. Otherwise get primaried or have no support. There's a decent segment of folks who are not bluffing, and are willing to let the establishment burn. Another segment sees this as bluffing (negotiating). Establishment are aghast.
