I am 100% not against other people praying/having beliefs, and I hate the "that's gatekeeping!" trend, but I'd say there are a large number of us who are atheist/agnostic/nothing, and that seems like an unnecessary qualification to be MAGA
^ This. I’m a non religious person, though I love Christianity, and I bowed my head in prayer with everyone at a Trump rally not too long ago for the first time in many years. It was an awkwardly long prayer where I had to peek to make sure I wasn’t the only one looking like they’re taking a nap, but it felt great.
This is not a PC board, as you can see. No one cares if someone's feels are hurt by freedom of speech. We don't simp for PC commie tactics used to destroy our culture, heritage & way of life. People are free to move on if they don't like seeing people publicly encouraged to pray. Caving to crap like this is what got this country into the mess it's in.
I agree with your entire comment, the difference being 'encouraged to pray' vs 'pray or you're not on the team'. Maybe I took their statement too literally, but my feelings aren't really 'hurt' either
Stuff like "please pray with me" or "please join me in prayer" is great. Continue to practice religion and encourage others to do so!
I really don't have any 'complaints' about this board at all. I'm glad its not PC and is full enthusiasm, and people can't say basically whatever they want without censorship. That use was free to voice their opinion, and I was able to disagree about the delivery/sentiment.
But I also don't think me saying "yes, encourage others to pray, live your life according to the bible, etc; but don't kick people off the Trump team just cause they don't pray" is "PC commie tactics"
This has gone waaaay farther than I meant it to, and is probably not productive at this point, so sorry bout that at least
I'm not trying to argue, and you and I will likely never agree on the existence of the divine or an actual hell, but that's fine. We're still united with the common goal of MAGA, exposing election fraud, covid fraud, etc
I grew up in the church, so I certainly understand the perspective you're coming from and that god's existence is an absolute fact, so you have no reason hold back
There was probably more frustration behind my words than intended since I clearly sparked some comments in return, so I apologize if it came off as an attack, but clearly the religious and non-religious can be united in this common goal
Nah don’t apologize. I was 100% agreeing with you (as a completely non-religious MAGA mofo.) There’s plenty of room for all of us on this train, regardless of religion or anything else. Some of us are just fed up with evil pieces of shit running everything in this country and we know GEOTUS is the only solution!
I’m an atheist. But I don’t take offense to nor do I feel alienated by expressions of religious beliefs by other Trump supporters. Devout Christians are amongst the strongest and most dedicated of Trump supporters and they build camaraderie and find solidarity through prayer. Moreover, even though I’m not a religious person, I recognize that western culture is largely based upon traditional Christian values that we all can agree upon.
So this is a religious-only subreddit/team then?

Nothing of the kind. Saying "you're not on the team" is a common admonishment for people who are religious and are not praying.
I'm a very religious person, but anyone who supports POTUS is on my political team.
If that's the case, then yes, I was mistaken. Thanks for the explanation
In Mr. Torgue voice: REPAIR ATTEMPT SUCCEEDED!! BYOW!!
THAT SENTENCE HAS TOO MANY SYLLABLES!
APOLOGIZE!!!
Love Borderlands, but too bad Gear Software is now cucked.
Wanted to play BL:3 but didn't want to get cucked to the point where I'd have to start letting my wife have boyfriends.
No it's not.
Even if you are not religious, join us in our prayers.

Don't be a pansy. This is no place for politically correct statements.
I agree, and I didn't mean to come off as making a 'politically correct' statement
I'm "preaching the word" of Election Fraud, covid-fraud, etc as it were in my circles outside of here and trying to do my part 'for the team'
And of course I don't have a problem with religious commentary or ties to biblical events/prophecies here in discussions
but "pray or you're not one of us" isn't really a helpful sentiment IMO, especially for any newcomers that may be browsing

That's great, religious freedom and expression

Boom!
True but obviously it was a little exaggerated and who cares?
Lol thank you for this comment
