Don't forget that the same voting machines were used in Brazil were the far left wing government never lost an election even being extremely unpopular. They lost power in Brazil because most people from the party were thrown in jail for corruption.

No voting machines at all. Only voting in person, with an ID, On election day, of people registered to vote before election day, counting on election day and election night, by hand, with plenty of observers. Absentee only in very specific cases.
