Why aren't the masks we're forced to wear considered hazardous waste and handled as such?

For an area filled with such environmental activists, I'm appalled at the number of gloves and masks strewn all over, including the parks/trails liberals claim to love!

And disposable food containers/flatware from all the takeaway food.

And make sure to throw it on the passenger seat of your car where you throw your stuff, and people's asses sit. Now put it on your face to buy groceries!

We buy masks made in China to protect us from the virus made in China. 🤡 🌎

That "big bother" is funny whether it was intentional or not!

I've been saying this from the beginning:

In a true respiratory-based pandemic, mask use is essential. However, the inconsistent messaging and absolute dearth of focus on proper safety and use is an intentional act to inflame dissent so they have someone to blame as each measure they try fails.

A friend who lives in a blue state told me the reason we still have to lockdown and wear masks is because we didn't do it well enough so far.

See definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result!

True statement. But that John Oliver derived logic assumes its possible to achieve 100% compliance. It's not possible. It's not even realistic. It's just another talking point that puts the onus of responsibility on those of us who don't believe the virus is as bad as it is.

See also: the mask isn't for you.

Well if it's not for me then it's not my responsibility to wear it.

I loved the thermal properties of styrofoam cups and the simple pleasures of a straw, but they were ripped from my hands. Doesn't all this pseudo medical waste ever choke a sea turtle?
