Psalm 2: 10-12 "Therefore, O Kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son lest he be angry, and you perish in the way. For His wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.

Psalms 43

Judge and vindicate me, O God; plead my case against an ungodly nation.

O rescue me from the deceitful and unjust man!

For You are the God of my strength [my stronghold—in whom I take refuge]; why have You rejected me?

Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places.

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God, my exceeding joy; With the lyre I will praise You, O God, my God!

Why are you in despair, O my soul?

And why are you restless and disturbed within me?

Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my [sad] countenance and my God.

I just realized something. My dad gave me one of his prayer journals that included some Biblical research he’d done in it. I read the whole thing. It was interesting to see how, in nearly every entry, my dad writes to the Lord, corrects or councils himself based on his own understanding, & writes down what he hears the Lord say to him in response. That’s exactly how this Psalm was written.

It's called Prayer Journaling. It's a good way to learn to hear the Lord voice.

I highly recommend it.
