King Jesus - We come to you humbly and ask for protection from the evil we face. Let truth prevail and our enemies be conquered. We mourn our nation's many sins, but there is still a remnant of righteousness. Please intervene on our behalf. In your Holy Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus intervenes in the form of patriots taking matters into their own hands when the weak men we delegated to have failed their duties.

I don't disagree at all. Jesus said "Turn the other cheek", he didn't say to let them keep hitting you.
