If we lose the Senate, then they will impeach Trump in the House and the Senate will vote to remove him. Stop the nonsense. We need to hold the Senate and the Presidency. And we need to take back the House as well.

17 Republicans would need to flip to convict Trump in the Senate. Even if most of them are RINOs, I can't see it happening.

23
45squared 23 points ago +24 / -1

So then why shouldn’t we vote for these two GA RINOs? Or do agree with OP?

Either RINOs = Democrats

OR

RINO > Democrats (barely)

41
Cincinattus1776 41 points ago +42 / -1

RINO > Democrats because at least RINOs have to fall in line with Trump sometimes to save face, even if they despise him behind his back. They know that without him, a lot of them wouldn't have cushy jobs in DC.

28
45squared 28 points ago +28 / -0

Exactly. My senator is fucking Ben Sasse who went on a rant about how he hates Trump, but he still votes in line with Trump and didn’t vote to remove. A Dem is a guaranteed vote to remove.

If RINOs are as bad as a Dem I would have expected more to have voted to remove. Now, I do think RINO is on a scale—some are more RINO than others.

we need the useful idiots

for now

2
Plaquenil 2 points ago +2 / -0

We need better republicans. And no one will do it for us. It’s up to us to get elected to positions of power in the party.

1
45squared 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, I’m an introvert and need to step out of my comfort zone. 😬 Also, our efforts should be aimed earlier in the process...voting in better candidates in the primaries (if we aren’t running ourselves). I can’t stand RINOs—I bitch about my senator, Ben Sasse, every chance I get (and voted for his opponent in the primary), but punishing RINOs when they are going up against radical commies, is not the time imo.

4
Steve638 4 points ago +6 / -2

This kind of logic allows these corrupt and crooked republicans(and there are PLENTY or them) to do as they please unquestioned. If they want a strong backing they should fucking act like it!!!

9
Thehonkswamp 9 points ago +10 / -1

It's picking the lesser of two evils, for now RINO > Dem, but once the immediate crisis is out of the way the RINOs need to start getting replaced by MAGA candidates.

We need to prepare for either eventuality on the general election fraud front.

-1
Steve638 -1 points ago +1 / -2

Lesser of two evils is what got this entire sham system running the way it does

0
ClokworkGremlin 0 points ago +1 / -1

No, spineless losers like yourself refusing to vote for any candidate they view as less than perfect is what got this entire sham system running the way it does.

0
Steve638 0 points ago +1 / -1

Oh info were going for insults now then it's cucky faggots like yourself who insist you need to vote for a guy because of the letter next to his name regardless of how shit of a candidate he is. Brian Kemp exists because of people like yourself

8
hloblart 8 points ago +8 / -0

RINO > Democrat because they do not have to bow to the DNC. I bet 5-10 Democrats would have broken with their party on conviction if the DNC didn't pressure them.

RINO > Democrat > Mitt Romney because Mitt Romney holds a petty jealous grudge and likes the media attention.

5
aaafirefly123 5 points ago +5 / -0

Mitt Romney gave what was a blatant partisan attack on the president a veneer of “bipartisan” legitimacy.

Now they can say “despite having bipartisan support for his removal, the republicans refused to remove Trump from office”

bigger problem is that how do any of you expect Trump to even try to clean the swamp over next 4 years if Dems hold Senate and get to deny confirmation of appointees?

1
BrakeRemovalMechanic 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well we already know they are going to make Puerto Rico and DC States so that adjusts the number. I'm sure they could find enough RINOs to seal the deal.

55
sjriver 55 points ago +61 / -6

Why do people keep saying this?

Impeachment and removal of the President isn't a 51 vote deal. It takes 2/3 of the Senate

38
LeftistsAreInsane 38 points ago +39 / -1

A lot of people don't understand how the Constitution works.

9
deleted 9 points ago +9 / -0
5
TheEidolon 5 points ago +5 / -0

This isn’t quite true. Harry Reid lowered the threshold for all judicial appointments except the Supreme Court to 51. Republicans extended that to it’s logical conclusion in 2016.

5
deleted 5 points ago +5 / -0
3
LeftistsAreInsane 3 points ago +3 / -0

Possibly. But even then, the same problem is still occurring. Removal requires a 2/3 vote of the Senate, and that's set forth in the Constitution, not a mere statute or Senate rule.

2
ProphetOfKek 2 points ago +2 / -0

Including elected officials.

4
trumplandslide 4 points ago +4 / -0

You ARE correct. But the elephant in the room is that with 51 votes they can PACK the court.

Do you want that?

We need BOTH. President Trump reelection AND a Republican majority in the Senate.

3
Barbs 3 points ago +3 / -0

They can’t pack the court without a President first nominating candidates. If Trump wins he won’t nominate anybody if the Dems get the Senate. If Biden ends up winning (BIG if) the SCOTUS battle over the election I doubt he’d be motivated to alter their makeup after they had just ruled in his favor.

He’s been in government forever, his waffling on packing the SCOTUS was for the Progressives, it’s not even something Ginsburg wanted. She was adamantly against changing the SCOTUS.

3
trumplandslide 3 points ago +3 / -0

Biden is not in charge. His handlers are.

2
2SmoothGQ 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is what people have to realize at this point. I actually kinda feel bad for Biden. He is a fucking husk at this point. A piece of garbage but a piece of garbage who doesn’t know where he is or what he is doing. Someone will write an executive order, slide it in front of him, and say “sign it”.

4
kag-2020- 4 points ago +4 / -0

Most "Republican" politicians are RINO's.

True, but it can't hurt to have a reasonably good margin of safety. You don't jump into shark-infested water and hope that no shark happens to lurk there at the time.

RINOs and Dems are both terrible, but now that everyone is starting to see them both for what they are the argument at least the Dems are upfront doesn't apply anymore. And seriously, honest? The same people that get the media to gaslight us about covid and police shootings you consider honest? The same people continually trying to create rifts in the MAGA movement with their constant lies and slander? Them?

The RINOs being weasels helps us in this case (compared to Dems, ofc genuine patriots are a million times better than either). A weasel can occasionally be pushed to do the right thing, the Democrats will never do the right thing politically, DINOs are too few and far between to rely on.

Once the immediate crisis is out of the way Trump is going to have an easier time if the senate stays R than if it flips to Dem, they'd block every god damn nomination. There'll be time enough to start replacing more RINOs with MAGA after this and yes it is a necessity that they are replaced, but if you think a Dem controlled senate is better for Trump you're being obtuse.

👍 Right on. President Trump is asking for us to vote for certain Republicans that he needs in place. I will do so! I trust HIM to know what he needs.

13

It takes 2/3’s in the senate. I agree we need the seats, but trying to be accurate here.

11
cannoli9116 11 points ago +11 / -0

I agree. But I am also of the opinion that if we lose this battle against this fraud, then nothing will stop the establishment from rigging every single elction from here on out.

Kekbewithus 1 point ago +2 / -1

If we expose the fraud the runoff election isn’t even necessary.

It’s now or never — what’s the point of rigged elections?

8
johnqpublic864 [S] 8 points ago +10 / -2

The Nuclear option doesn't apply? We still need to hold the Senate if we want a chance of passing anything. Even the RINOs usually vote R when it counts. No way the Demoncrats will.

6
Cincinattus1776 6 points ago +6 / -0

No, the nuclear option does not apply. the 2/3s super majority for conviction is set by the Constitution.

2
iamherefortheluls 2 points ago +2 / -0

without Republican Senate, Trump's 2nd term will be a 4 year long lame duck session.

They approve presidential appointments. We need Barr to be cleaned up and replaced with someone competent. Same for probably dozens of other critical government postings.

0
ClokworkGremlin 0 points ago +0 / -0

Democrats don't play by the rules. If they get a majority, they'll force through whatever they can get, regardless of the law.

1
Cliffinati 1 point ago +2 / -1

Theyd have to pass a amendment to nuclear option impeachment

7

5

Is there a chance that once the voter fraud with Trump gets exposed, then the senate races in GA will be cleared up as well?

3
Kekbewithus 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes exactly if they fix the fraud the senators already will have won on 11/3 and there’s no runoff necessary

0
ClokworkGremlin 0 points ago +0 / -0

Great. So definitely no backup plan, right?

3
Pepe2016_ivotedfTD 3 points ago +3 / -0

Still should vote foe the rhinos as much as it pains me to say this.

3
Cliffinati 3 points ago +3 / -0

51 senators cant remove a preisdent you need 2/3 majority

But yes we need a majority in the Senate so VOTE GOP IN THE RUNOFF

0
ClokworkGremlin 0 points ago +0 / -0

51 Democrat senators and a Democrat-controlled house can do whatever they want. Especially when more than half the Republicans in both houses are spineless RINOs.

0
Cliffinati 0 points ago +1 / -1

Its literally constitutionally required to have a 2/3 vote to remove

0
ClokworkGremlin 0 points ago +0 / -0

I just explained this.

They dont care about the rules. They don't care about the Constitution. If they have you outnumbered, they will bully you into submission, regardless of the law, no matter where that law comes from.

If they get a 51% majority, they will ignore the Constitution, and the RINO Republicans will let them.

3
talontron 3 points ago +5 / -2

2/3 thirds majority man not a chance

2
johnqpublic864 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wow lots of cowards and quitters. Sad.

2
MAGASquatch 2 points ago +2 / -0

All in good time. You think we will stop the audits just because Trump wins PA, MI, WI, GA, AZ. and NV? We need to make sure every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is thrown out. Where there is corruption, there will be prosecution. We all might be surprised the number of special elections that will need to be held in 2021 due to all of the vacancies.

2
chewsoap 2 points ago +2 / -0

Republican and Democrat are opposite sides of the same coin. If Trump doesn't win now, it's all over and voting will be pointless because the outcome is predetermined.

2
bellcurvestrikesback 2 points ago +3 / -1

2/3s required of senate

2

If this fraud is allowed to stand there won't be an election in January.... Just another show

2
Kekbewithus 2 points ago +2 / -0

We already voted... on 11/3... and won in a landslide victory.

No more rigged elections, it’s up to:

  1. The Supreme Court
  2. The US military under POTUS
  3. God help us, We the People
0
ClokworkGremlin 0 points ago +0 / -0

Well guess what. We the People are being called upon to implement Plan B in case Plan A doesn't go as intended.

2
PizzaphilePodesta 2 points ago +2 / -0

votes don’t matter if the elections are rigged, and the republicans who are in office don’t do jack shit.

0
ClokworkGremlin 0 points ago +0 / -0

Unless the GOP helps Trump, I am never voting again, building a house in the woods, detaching from the system as much as possible. Hoping Dems take the Senate so this war gets hot sooner rather than later.

1
DonttrustChina 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's not how that works. Removal takes 67 vote supermajority, and Trump winning automatically gives us the senate anyway because we hold the tiebreaker vote.

1
hloblart 1 point ago +1 / -0

We need at least one extra over 50 because of Romney. Mike Pence has better things to do than cast tie breakers every day.

1

So when they steal your vote in Georgia again, which they are already in the process of, what then? Vote in the next election?

4
johnqpublic864 [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

If you don't vote, then there's zero chance of your vote counting.

2

If you vote we might win

If you don't we can't win

1

0

Then you will lose.

You think you're better than everyone else, but there you stand. The good man, doing nothing. And while evil triumphs, and your rigid pacifism crumbles into bloodstained dust, the only victory afforded to you is that you stuck true to your guns. You were a coward, until your last wimper. Dumb is doing the same thing and expecting different results. They loose, we loose, either way we loose, so why not take them down with us.

It's a policy called Mutually Assured Destruction, and it's what kept us out of the war with the Soviets. The problem is that the RINO's think we won't fire after we've been fired upon...we will! And we all loose. I'm tired of flinching first ... The RINOs who assume we will back them in the end need to rethink that position.

-1
Covfefe_Crusader -1 points ago +1 / -2

Naw, I am done with that shit. I'm old enough to remember how they screwed us and President Trump over for two solid years when they controlled the house and senate. They refuse to allow the appointment of anyone that would make a difference. They refuse to stop importing foreign labor for their big tech masters, who they worship and do nothing against, even in the face of massive censorship and election interference against their supposed constituents. They refuse to do anything about illegal immigration, chain migration, visa overstays, birthright citizenship, unfair trade deals, and pointless wars. They have continued to slow walk and obstruct Trump in every way possible for his entire term. Additionally, the way the GOP has rolled over in GA and allowed rampant fraud to occur shows me that they don't deserve to be elected, even if you assume the election will somehow be fair. If I thought voting mattered anymore I'd vote democrat just to accelerate the conflict so the shooting can finally start. FUCK the GOP, there are maybe one or two I'd miss if they all got beheaded.

Yes, vote Republican, so your vote can be negated at 3AM by the truck full of fake Democrat ballots or the cheating algorithm on the counting computers can flip your vote for the Democrat.
