Holy shit. America is becoming like India. I am Indian and we have 50% reservations here. Trust me when I say it. You can't go to a government hospital in India if you don't know about the doctors already. Some doctors are so shit. I know people who had to get their molars removed because the dentist fucked up the root canal or something like that.
Reservation is the worst thing, especially if it's based on race and not wealth or something. Even wealth one is shit because people fake tax returns and don't show income. I also happen to know a guy who went to a top college in India in the poor quota but owns a garment factory.
Reservations never serve the people they are supposed to serve.
The good thing in the US is it is obvious. Dr. is a white or Asian male? You know they are good, got there by jumping over the highest hurdles.
I love seeing Dr. Li, or Dr. Patel, or similar, because I know they passed the full rigor of requirements.
