...what restaurant did he tip her in? I ask because all the restaurants around here on the West Coast are take-out only, so where would a waitress even get a tip?
Depends on the size of the bill, but also can you cash deposit by machine? Further, did the guy who tipped do this or did he get this from change? Story seems like some social meeting attention seeker.
No - probably saying that because of the Trump art (it’s art), the machine would not take it. Also seems like BS. I’ve put plenty of messed bills - torn, marker, etc...and machines take it fine.
I never tip. It's not customary in my country and some consider it a bit rude, fascinating how tipping in the US is almost a codified law judging by how strict tradition is in that regard.
Good waiters/waitresses deserve a tip. They aren't making much money hourly here in the States since it is assumed that customers will tip them. Their base wage is something like $5/hr.
The bad ones feel entitled to large tips though. That drives me frigging crazy.
This isn't actually true. The whole $5 an hour is a myth. The agreement is $5 an hour AS LONG AS their tips put them over the minimum wage. If they don't make over minimum wage with tips, the business is required to pay them enough to bring them up to minimum wage.
So they get paid $7.25 instead and how many paycheck bumps do you think they get before they get shit canned?
I own a business that is commission and tip based. It is tough for new hires to get caught up on sales to make a good living. I am required to pay $7.25 an hour even though they are paid 100% sales and tips.
In my 90 day training program I bump them up to $10 an hour after that if they are not making at least 10 an hour from sales and tips I cut them loose. Tells me they are shit.
The really good ones that stick around earn 25-50 an hour easy in a state that has a pretty low avg wage.
First of all, who complains about not being thanked for a tip? That's retarded.
Second of all, banks will take bills that are ripped in half and give you a new one. The daughter is an idiot if she couldn't figure out how to exchange money and probably doesn't deserve a $20 tip anyway.
dems do tip.... but they sure as shit don't report their tips as income in my experience. not that i blame them personally (fuck taxes and all), i just appreciate the irony of so many of them being far left and wanting everyone else to pay more when many of them make hundreds a week in undeclared income.
wow that's incredibly illegal. worst part is that she's screwing her customers in addition to the state sales taxes. doesn't anybody ever get a receipt or return something?
I've never deposited by machine, but my late-wife did. She placed the money in a deposit envelop with relevant information placed on it. The issue should've been with the envelope, not with the bill. If this did happen, then it might be because the daughter could not follow instructions/directions.
When I was a military disbursing officer, I had a dollar counter in my office that was able to count bills that were in terrible shape, almost barely recognizable (in circulation in foreign markets). Something like in the picture would've easily been counted by my currency counter. This counter was archaic compared to what the banks have today, and it was made in the 20th Century. I was in this position just after the turn of the century. If the above claim in the tweet occurred, the person that wasn't able to deposit that did not follow directions, or didn't have common sense.
I have trouble believing the claim in the first place. Someone sufficiently upset by the gesture may have simply swapped the bill for one at the register.
Told my mom this, she works at a bank, and she said "It's possible that the machine could reject it, but not probable, but if you don't want it, go inside the fucking bank, the tellers won't reject it. Stupid bitch isn't stuck with a $20 bill"
Kid at Starbucks window handed me my coffee a couple of months ago at the window and because I knew they are all working hard I was going to give him a $2 tip but then I saw the BLM shirt he was wearing and just put the two bucks back in my wallet. Moron just cheated himself out of a tip
Federal Reserve is worthless obviously. But don't worry. Trump is bringing back the gold standard and kicking out the central bank called the federal reserve.
My brother once balled up a dollar bill and threw it on the ground in front of this snobby bitch stripper. She bent over and picked it up. People like this have no sense of shame
Took a friend out for his birthday lunch in late September. Bill was $55. Nice independent restaurant on a gorgeous day with outdoor seating. Food was awesome. I tipped $20.20 on the credit slip and wrote TRUMP MAGA on it, too. Waitress came back and made a point to thank me and say she liked the extra message!
What an asshole to tip $20! TDS
She hated it so much she took a pic of it
And tried to deposit it
beat me too it
...what restaurant did he tip her in? I ask because all the restaurants around here on the West Coast are take-out only, so where would a waitress even get a tip?
Red states
Depends on the size of the bill, but also can you cash deposit by machine? Further, did the guy who tipped do this or did he get this from change? Story seems like some social meeting attention seeker.
Yes you can deposit cash by machine. Is she saying that the 20 dollar bill is fake?
No - probably saying that because of the Trump art (it’s art), the machine would not take it. Also seems like BS. I’ve put plenty of messed bills - torn, marker, etc...and machines take it fine.

They're horrible liars.
EXACTLY, with that attitude there's no way she got tipped a $20
She
probablydefinitely wrote that herself.FTFY
Lol... Kim Masters the art of writing vapid fiction.
You mean the sharpie made the machine not count it? Weird!
Top kek, and comment.
"Some asshole tipped my daughter." Clearly a Republican. Dems don't tip, much less 20 bucks.
dems do tip.... but they sure as shit don't report their tips as income in my experience. not that i blame them personally (fuck taxes and all), i just appreciate the irony of so many of them being far left and wanting everyone else to pay more when many of them make hundreds a week in undeclared income.

lol, every 20 i've spent the last several months have been marked like that, hell I bought a stamp, I got a "hell yeah" from anyone who noticed
Same here!
Didnt want to keep it in her possession and cried herself to sleep because Trump. Haha you fucking pinheads.
Probably a Dominion ATM

Newer machines count the money on the spot and make the funds immediately available to your account without someone having to hand count it.

I mean, if she doesn't want it, I'll take it.
or you know, just buy something with it and you'll get change. not hard to do.
These bitches are so fake that silicone implants reject them.

Guess someone wasn't getting enough attention.
So is she saying the machine wouldn’t accept the sharpie markings?
I see what you did there.
how dare she even accept money from a Trump supporter??
it should have gone straight into the trash. /s
A liberal with a job? This hoax was transparent right from the opening sentence.
she didn't thank the guy who tipped her twenty bucks? what a cunt.
You would win $60 on this tweet alone.
She got tipped $20 and was pissy about marks on the bill? Unless it was a $100 tab, that’s a damn generous tip. What a twat.
ATM must have been made by Dominion. Rejected because someone used Sharpie on it.
A machine rejecting something in favor of Trump? There's a theme....
More machines rejecting Trump votes!
Solved the sharpie issue/nonissue right here
Call the restaurant? Not likely. ATM rejected it? Nah, that would go through.
Some pede wrote "Trump 2020" on the back of a $20 bill?
Absofuckinglutely and it's hilarious.
LOL still deposited it.... if it was that bad then why keep it?
Was her daughter to scared to say that her self and needed mommy to tell the world how mean her daughter was treated?
Shit mom should have taught her daughter to thank people when they give them a generous cash tip
Let me guess, her hands also have burn marks just from touching it too?
Federal Reserve is worthless obviously. But don't worry. Trump is bringing back the gold standard and kicking out the central bank called the federal reserve.
LIES 😂

“The Machine” will always reject justice and Liberty. MAGA

Brilliant Idea LOL spread the word.
I seen many of those.... (Nick smirk)
Retarded daughter probably tried to put it into a $1 changer.
I do not carry cash any more, is there really that large of a bezel around the bill!?
Good Question, the bill does look kinda sus.
I bet it happened
The left lies while the right believes in truth.
