The easiest way for Trump to win would be the States simply not certifying the results. Then Trump wins.
Certification now is going to have to require the courts to intervene. Either State court or SCOTUS will have to give a ruling that invalidates the certification or EC votes. In theory if this happens you could end up with Trump winning or votes not being counted.
There is an alternative situation where the Legislative Assembly sends in their own EC votes and attempts to supercede the State. This would result in more legislation, likely at a SCOTUS level on which votes count. The legislative assembly votes or the State certified votes. This one could get really messy and could go either way.
