The way Republicans have turned against Trump after getting everything they wanted from him is heartbreaking. For the first time ever we had a president who who listened to us, understood us, spoke for us, and fought for us, and that the Republicans officials were not willing to stand behind him in his greatest moment of need is unacceptable. Frankly it's made me stopped caring about the party. Democrats can cheat and Republicans can let them - it doesn't change anything. If Trump decides to run again, I'll support him. For now though, goodbye politics - I'll focus on my own personal life.
You cannot say goodbye to politics. America will become a communist country with Harris in the white house. You think your personal life is not going to be affected when they'll take away your property to make you pay "reparations"?
Why did you care about the party before? None of this is new - this is what the swamp is. The current GOP is a hostile takeover by Trump. His only allies are a minority of reps in the house and maybe 2 or 3 Senators. The entire system is fighting to return to it's former state, including the GOP. They have done everything possible to appear to support him while hobbling him in govt while ALSO staying in the good graces of HIS support, which isn't theirs anymore but that they used to have. The GOP/Fox circling of the wagons then feeble attempt to corral Trump's base was obvious, and they bungled it. To what end we will have to wait and see.

Trump executed a hostile takeover of the GOP. That is why Nikki Halley wrote his political obituary right after the election, hopefully she never holds office again. The GOPe and DNC are one and the same. They split us up with fake issues or things that are highly partisan so they can rob the treasury for their own gain it is a uniparty. Trump was an existential threat to them.
Sundance at Conservative Treehouse would always post there are trillions at stake. As always it is about the money, which is why there are so few true patriots. Look at how the Rust Belt has been gutted, and yet you have no tariff Toomey in PA.
