I suspect Powell, having dived into this Dominion stuff, decided she could be of better use by pursuing this. Just an FYI, the dominion stuff likely isn't going to be resolved before the next President is selected. Trump is focusing on more constitutional based challenges, which can work to his advantage. Having Powell off the team to pursue the dominion stuff still helps Trump because it will help create an aura of uncertainty surrounding the election results but Powell's case won't be what overturns the election results because there just isn't enough time to put together such a huge case against the Dominion voting machines.
