Sidney Powell was never on the team. It was a clarification. She said so herself before their clarification. She promoted her own legal defense fund and said she was fighting for the republic. She said this well before the clarification.

Lin Wood is also not on the team. He said so himself

I do not believe Joe DiGenova or Victoria Toensing are on that team either, but working in tandem, independently, WITH Giuliani and Jenna Ellis.

They did NOT publish this to "distance themselves", in my opinion.

They did it for Clarification, because there are legal and financial consequences of her being separate from them.

Specifically, I believe it's possible she has been deputized by President Trump as a law enforcement officer (she said on Newsmax 'as a law enforcement officer, I'd do that').

If she were deputized, POTUS could have given a security clearance--in fact she would require one in order to see the fusion center activity that she said she's seen. Think about it. They don't show that to civilians!

If she were working for Trump on a campaign there could be campaign finance issues of someone working in the capacity of a law enforcement officer with access to government information. The optics are bad, but also the law could be against it also: using gov resources and privileged information in order promote a civilian's campaign....there is supposed to be a separation. Also, if she weren't a federal officer then it could be 'fruit of the poisonous tree' for her to obtain information outside of a sanctioned court ordered discovery process.

I'm not saying this is true, I'm saying it's very much possible. In which case, she really COULD release a Kraken.

I'm just tired of people saying she was "FIRED"

That is not true.

There are several prongs of attack for the Trump legal teams and allies. First and foremost is to reveal the fraud through the courts to the necessary level that Trump is rightfully re-elected.

Secondary to that, although of equal importance, is the criminal aspect of that fraud; Who did what, how, and when. Given the enormity of the fraud, the task to reveal and prosecute it is of equal enormity. This will take months to assemble, separate the real from the rumor, and to build adequate cases. Trump's election team has no time or resources to dedicate to that, but it appears to me that this is exactly what Sidney Powell is directing her efforts towards.

Therefore the delineation of tasks has to be made. Giuliani, Ellis, et al are taking the civil route. Powell is building the criminal case.

.. or so it seems to me.
